Be a British Through Your Business

The current UK immigration situation makes Entrepreneur applications very desirable yet difficult. It goes without saying that the application must be prepared very thoroughly and have a strong foundation.

With Brexit looming on the horizon, UK is seeking ambitious business entrepreneurs to enable the UK economy to flourish.
Yet, for applicants, things are always becoming more complicated. The reason is not that the PBS itself is hard to grasp. The rationale is surprisingly simple.

People get points if they can show certain things – money is of paramount importance and the case in point. At the other – perhaps much sharper – end of the stick, constant revision within the “system” makes it susceptible to entropy.

Therefore, unless one monitors it constantly, making sense of what’s happening is not easy. The Home Office is not inclined to give applicants for an Entrepreneurs visa the benefit of the doubt.

With a Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa, you can operate your business (or businesses) as a limited company, earn income as a self-employed individual, and even study part-time. Together with any dependents that join you under the Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa, you can enjoy travel beyond the UK for up to 180 days every year while earning your qualifications for Indefinite Leave to Remain, and ultimately, British Citizenship. Dependents are also able to work and earn an income.

The core of an Entrepreneur application is a business plan which aligns with the applicant’s expertise. This business plan should set out your proposed business activities in the UK and how you expect to make your business succeed.

You must succeed the genuine entrepreneur test which can be through an interview and crossexamination with the Home Office to assess the proposed entrepreneur’s credibility and potential.

During the interview, the proposed entrepreneur must demonstrate adequate knowledge of the UK market, the proposed business, the industry in the UK and any legal regulatory requirements.

The Applicant must not fall for refusal under the general grounds for refusal. Sufficient evidence must be provided to establish the viability and credibility of the source of money, business financial accounts, business activity throughout the entrepreneur’s stay in the UK and job creation whilst obtaining relevant mandatory accreditations, registration and/or insurance invited, you will be interviewed on your knowledge of business and future prospects in the U.K

The Tier 1 entrepreneur visa is a point-based system of visa allowing for migrants who want to invest in the UK by setting up or taking over, and being actively involved in the running of, a business or businesses. Under the point based system the applicant needs to score a total of 95 points under the immigration rules.

Attributes- Funds: You will have to submit evidence of accessible funds of £200,000 to invest in the proposed business. The funding must be made available to the applicant’s business, If funds not directly in the applicant’s name, then 3rd party funding is permitted provided certain supporting documents are available.

English language:
For Tier 1 (Entrepreneur), applicants are required to provide evidence that they speak, communicate and understand English language to a certain level and this requirement can be met by either being a national of one of the majority English speaking countries, or by having a degree level qualification from an English speaking country or by having passed an English language Test level B1 of the Common European Framework of Reference required.

Maintenance: You will have to provide evidence confirming the availability of sufficient money for the maintenance and accommodation of yourself and any dependants.

It is necessary to provide evidence that a specific amount of money was held for at least 3 months prior to making the application.
You need to provide evidence that you have access to the following amounts of money to make the visa application for yourself and your family members: £3310 for making an entry clearance application from outside the UK; and £1890 for each dependent.
The Tier 1 (Entrepreneur) entry clearance visa is submitted online. The application form and supporting documents along with your original passport will be submitted to the visa centre in your country.

Once your application is submitted, you will most likely be asked to attend an interview in relation to the application to assess your genuineness as an entrepreneur.

The interview along with your previous immigration history and the application, supporting document forms a crucial part of the consideration process of your application.
